ABOUT US

JULY 7, 2005, our daughter, Catalina 17 months of age, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloblastic Leukemia (AML). She was hospitalized for the better of five months. She endured a massive amount of chemotherapy. Before her final round she developed a fungal infection which required a portion of her lung to be removed. Our lives have been forever turned upside down. Thankfully, we are home now where we enjoy each and every day together. Catalina remains in remission and has a 50% cure rate. We pray and ask you to pray that this evil cancer never returns and that we can live as "normal" a life a possible.

We were VERY fortunate to have so much support from our family and friends while we
were in the hospital that we decided to begin helping others by starting this non-profit.
